Beach Wedding Shoes

So, you have a vision of a beach wedding. Soft sugary sand under your feet but how are you going to make sure you the same sand doesn't ruin your poise on the wedding day?

But what to wear for such an idyllic outdoor ceremony? Well, the dress has to be light and breezy - no meringues, please - and the bridesmaids should be lightly clad too. Don't forget the pretty sunhats if the sun's really beating down, unless you're under an awning or a marquee, when a few flowers in the hair will do nicely.

Beach wedding shoes can be a dilemma if the occasion is less than formal. Real beach babes will probably go for some pretty beaded flip-flops, something like the diamante wedding toe post sandal would be perfect. Simple enough to keep toes cool but with a little bit of sparkle to make them just that little bit different. If you're looking for something practical but with bling and glamour, the Elizabeth wedding shoe is perfect.  The rhinestones will sparkle in the sunlight and catch the candlelight in the evening.  These shoes are a generous fit which is great if your feet have a tendency to swell in the heat.  They aren't dyeable however we've never had a bride who has found the ivory or white not suit their chosen wedding dress.
