The table below gives a guide to British childrens' shoe sizes and their European equivalent. Please note that most shoe companies do not use absolutely correct size conversions and so it's quite common to have some variation.

For the smaller sizes, the measurements of the insoles with an approximate age range are as follows:

                                                                           Size 1      - 10.5cms     approx age  3-6months
                                                                           Size 2      - 11.5cms     approx age  6-12months
                                                                           Size 3      - 12cms        approx age 12 -18months
                                                                           Size 4      - 13cms        approx age 18-24months
                                                                           Size 5      - 14cms        approx age  24-36months
                                                                           Size 6      - 14.5cms     approx age  36- 48months
