Funnyman David Walliams married his beautiful laydee, Lara Stone in a stylish London wedding. Celebrities turned out in force to witness the intimate ceremony at the stylish London hotel, Claridges before descending on the trendy Shoreditch House to dance the night away in what was surprisingly (given David Walliams penchant for the outrageous!), a very traditional wedding celebration.
The venues were awash with white roses and guests were treated to a private synchronised swimming display in the rooftop pool at Shoreditch House. The male guests in particular didn't know where to look as the 5 nubile swimmers dressed in gold swimsuits took up their positions! As for the first dance, the happy couple rejected the traditional love ballad, instead choosing Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson's version of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast for their first spin on the dancefloor as man and wife. Walliams' Sports Relief cycling partner, Fearne Cotton then hit the decks to spin the necessary cheesy wedding tunes that no wedding is complete without. And Walliams' comic partner and joint best man, Matt Lucas added a little bit of hilarity to the proceedings when he wheeled the wedding cake dressed as Marjorie Dawes, his well known character from the hit TV series, Little Britain. At the end of the evening, the guests all departed clutching little cupcakes from The Primrose Bakery as their memento of the wedding of the year so far.

With Walliams' ex laydees all being present to witness his nuptials, you could be forgiven for thinking that Miss Stone might have something to worry about. But no, according to wedding guests the couple looked blissfully in love and Walliams never left the side of his newest laydee all day, affirming her place as the only laydee in his life til death do them part!
As for the most important part of the wedding for all you brides to be out there, the wedding dresses, Miss Stone certainly didn't disappoint. The main event was a £30,000 wedding dress designed by her friend, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci. The long corseted dress in ivory washed silk satin was elegant and chic, perfect for a chic London wedding. Lace incrustations, gold chain-trimmed straps and a matching silk crepeline added just the right amount of supermodel glamour. For the evening celebrations, the new Mrs Walliams then changed into a short sparkly gold mini dress perfect for dancing the night away in!

The happy couple have now jetted off on honeymoon to Paris to start married life in style after a whirlwind romance and short engagement.
