It seems that you hens are tightening your belts when it comes to celebrating those last days as single girls whilst your other halves are determined to say goodbye to goodbye to their bachelor days with a bang. In the latest research carried out by Hotels.com and Wedding Ideas magazine, 74% of stags said that despite the credit crunch, they will say a sweet farewell to their last days of singledom in a frenzy of beer drinking and partying lasting a weekend or longer. You brides on the other hand are much more reserved (or shall we say practical!), with 59% saying that your hen night celebrations will only last a day.

And it seems that the stags are spending more too, with each paying an average of £179 to help celebrate this rite of passage. Hens, it seems though are thinking more of their friends and are spending a modest £118 on the hen night. Plus the stag do is more likely to venture on to foreign shores with 27% of the stags polled heading to Europe for their last nights of freedom. Another 5% were going even further afield. Let's just hope that they don't find themselves tied to a lamppost with nothing but their birthday suit as getting home in time to meet you at the alter might be difficult!

As for you hens, 96% of you are staying at home in good 'ole Great Britain with over a quarter (28%) opting to say goodbye to your last days as single girl in your home town where you can be surrounded by all your friends. However just because you aren't going for an exotic hen do where sunburn and hangovers don't mix, doesn't mean that you can't celebrate in style too. After all, as any savvy hen knows, it's the accessories that make the outfit or in this case, the games that make the party! Plenty of wine and cocktails plus the obligatory willy or two and you will have a hen night you'll never forget. Check out our range of hen night fun and games that'll make any hen party go with a bang but without a price tag that'll make you go weak at the knees (it should be the wine that does that!) Get in the mood with naughty hen night jewellery and naughty hen night veil, then get the party going with a game of How well do you know the Hen? - you can have great fun seeing just how much your friends know about you whilst feeling like the queen bee! Wind up the volume with the hot willy hen night game or Spin the Pecker hen night game and see just how far you and your friends will go. Finally once the cocktails have been flowing for a while, it's time for the Booby Dares hen game - you will, will he?

So get celebrating and just remember what happens on the hen night, stays on the hen night. That's one thing that is the same for both sexes!
