'I do” to more sex says the Church

Published on 06 November 2008

The Church of England is saying “I do” to more sex for married couples! According to the headline on the website set up by the Church to encourage lovers to tie the knot, “marriage provides more and better sex”. It claims that sex within marriage has an enduring and unifying quality that perhaps isn't there before you make that long lasting commitment to each other.

According to the theologian Adrian Thatcher, author of ‘A Guide to Christian Marriage', the reason is because “married couples take the time to please their partners and satisfy them thoughtfully.  Love and a concern for one's partner shifts the focus away from the self in a sexual relationship toward the other person”. Time then girls, to get out those sexy lace top wedding hold ups, saucy bridal garters and kinky Clara wedding boots to give your man the time of his life! And just imagine what you could receive in return!!

(NEW) Chiffon bridal garter                                          Tara wedding boot

Chiffon Bridal Garter                                                            Tara Wedding Boot

The bold statements were made on the Church's new website yourchurchwedding.org which they set up following the changes in the marriage laws last month to encourage more of you to tie the knot in a traditional church ceremony. You now get married in a wider range of churches and not just your local one (see our updates pages for more information these changes). In a novel move to try and dispel the traditional image associated with the Church and to open the doors to more of you who would have perhaps decided on a stately home ceremony, they are showing  that they support the physical side of marriage as well as the spiritual, promising that tying the knot can give “spectacular sexual rewards”!
