Simple dresses are best if they are to look fresh throughout the day - and let their wearers have some fun too. Don't forget to provide the little ones with a shawl, shrug or bridemaid's bolero to wear over their finery if the weather turns chilly. And if they're wearing headdresses, tiaras or flower wreaths, keep them light and unelaborate - they have to wear them all day!

Similarly, your little bridesmaids will find it tiresome to carry a bouquet of flowers around for hours. Why not equip each one with a pretty wedding confetti bag full of flower petals, or give them a wrist or dress corsage so that their hands stay free? That way, you'll be ensured smiles for the wedding pictures!
