Sex and The City Wedding Style

Published on 30 June 2008

The ultimate single girl in New York gets her fairy tale ending. Or does she???? After 4 years away from our screens, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friends have finally returned in the movie that all you fashionistas have been waiting for - “Sex and the City - The Movie”. And after all those years of break -ups, stunning outfits, fabulous handbags and trade mark Manolo Blahnik shoes when we all laughed and cried with her, Carrie is all set to wed her Mr Big with the wedding to end all weddings in a dress to die for. But in SATC fashion, things don't go quite to plan and we spend the film following the four friends rally round in true friendship! And as for that fairy tale ending, you'll just have to watch the film….

Hair fascinator - sinamay loops (NEW)

So now you have seen the film and coveted The Dress and you want to know how to inject a bit of SATC style into your own fairy tale ending. Well, chances are that a Vivienne Westwood full-on fairy tale wedding dress complete with a bird in the hair might be going just that bit too far, even for the most fashionista of brides. But that doesn't mean that you can't take some tips from the Carrie Bradshaw book of style by accessorising a breathtaking full gown with a stunning hair fascinator, either with or without a veil. Something like the hair fascinator - sinamay loops would be just the thing for that fashion-savvy city girl that you are. And don't forget the shoes! Carrie doesn't go anywhere without her statement skyscraper Manolos but if it's the price tag rather than the designer shoe that makes you go weak at the knees, then have a look at our range of heeled wedding shoes. Something like the Megan wedding shoes makes that SATC statement or the Tiffany bridal shoes or Stephanie bridal shoes have that killer heel without the killer price tag!!
