It's so close! Time to buy your traveller's cheques and honeymoon currency (unless you're just going to Brighton for the day). Get your bags packed - these are the best man's responsibility, as it's his job to make sure you have them ready at the venue. Also, you can try practising your vows. A civil service is more informal, but the registrar will still have to approve any readings you choose to do, be they Shakespeare or Snoop Dogg.
Now is the best time to whoop it up with friends at your stag and hen dos. It gives you a few weeks to recover from a night of riot, and if the groom does happen to be tied to a lorry and sent to Aberdeen, he's got ample time to get back. Also, a crushing hangover won't do much for your looks, so do your partying well before the big day.
Talking of looks, a month gives you time for a wedding makeover. Watch your diet, drink lots of water to clear your skin, look after your nails and nourish your hair. Consider having a spray tan to look super-healthy on the day. Get as much sleep as you can for sparkling eyes and a youthful flush. Think beautiful!
