Wedding Ring Cushions

A wedding ring cushion is the small cushion on which your precious wedding rings are presented at the wedding ceremony. Wedding ring cushions are used to provide a formal display of those all important wedding rings during the ceremony and make real event of the exchanging of the rings. Although it's the responsibility of the best man to make sure that the wedding rings get to the ceremony safely, once they are there, they can be placed on a wedding ring cushion and given to a younger member of the wedding party to carry down the aisle. This is a wonderful way of making little bridesmaids or page boys really feel part of your wedding day.

When choosing your wedding ring cushion or wedding ring cushions, you need to think about the style and theme of your wedding. Wedding ring cushions come in all shapes and sizes and although they are only used for short time during the ceremony, during that time, they are the centre of attention so you need to make sure that it is right for you, the bearer and those precious wedding rings. And after the ceremony, wedding ring cushions make a lovely keepsake of your special day when the wedding flowers have wilted and the champagne has been drunk.

You can either go for a traditional wedding ring cushion that suits the formality of the occasion or you can go for something which adds a little drama to the proceedings. Whatever style you choose though, you need to make sure that the wedding rings are kept safely in place as they make their journey down the aisle. Ribbon ties are a good way of ensuring this. You also need to make sure that the ring cushion is easy to carry. All the Henry Kaye wedding ring cushions have a ribbon handle on the underside so small hands can carry them and their precious cargo safely.
